Dré Parker was born in Harlem, but he grew up in Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx too, which helped him understand New York City to the fullest. As a kid, he didn't have a really good life but still finds the humor in it all. His favorite comedians are Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Robin Williams, George Carlin, Wanda Sykes, Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor, Paul Mooney, George Lopez, and Reggie McFadden.Encouraged by Reggie McFadden to do standup, in 2005, Dré decided to call 98.7 Kiss FM and enter a comedy contest. He beat his competition hands down and impressed the show hosts with his 60-second set: “He's good. I like the voices.” - John Witherspoon Good Dré...I like it!” - Talent“Great Dré...you have something there!” – Jeff FoxDré rose to the next level of the competition and aced his set at the New York Improv and hasn’t stopped performing since. Dré is a master impressionist, but this is not his only comedic ability. He has opened for and shared the stage with comedians such as Rodney Perry, Talent, Jessica Kirson, Nikki Carr, Reggie Mcfadden and Hadiyah Robinson. Since the start of his career, he has made several radio appearances, including interviews with Kevin Gassman and James Musselman on KWSS 106.7FM’s (Scottsdale, Arizona) Driving with Gass, and Ralph Vincent’s LA Underground Comedy Show. People thought he was so cool on the radio that he was asked to do his own 2-hour online radio spot -- 3 times!!In 2006, Dré began broadcasting his own radio show called “The Dré Parker Show,” which features comic skits, standup, and live interviews. Dré also writes, directs, and edits skits, and his Pimp Smack Gum series has been a hit. You can find his other skits just by typing his name in Google or Yahoo since he now dominates in the top 8 search results in either search engine.Dré works well with anybody that wants to work with him and looks forward to venturing into film, television, voice-overs, and more.
